ROOT CANAL TREATMENT (ENDODONTICS)

A root canal treatment (also endodontics) is a method in dentistry that can preserve dead or inflamed teeth for many years.

What is being done?

During a root canal treatment, the inflamed pulp is removed, the root canals are cleaned of bacteria and tissue residue and then sealed tightly. A local anesthetic tailored to your needs ensures pain-free treatment.

In our practice we use  innovative techniques for measuring the length of the root canal, filigree instruments for cleaning the canals and special filling materials for sealing cavities and side channels for best results.

What are the advantages of an electrical length determination?

  • Fewer X-rays are needed, which means less X-Ray exposure

  • Use of highly flexible nickel-titanium files, which means that severely curved canals can also be prepared

  • more exact length determination possible

What does the treatment cost?

The health insurance takes over for those with statutory health insurance the costs under certain conditions, but no modern processing methods such as electrical length determination are covered. However, due to the many advantages, we recommend this.Tip: Many supplementary dental insurance policies cover these costs.

Private patients are reimbursed for all services from their private health insurance.

Let us advise you.
