HIGH-QUALITY FILLING THERAPY

Nothing replaces a natural tooth. Our primary goal is therefore always to preserve as much of the tooth substance as possible and to remove as little as possible. Probably the most common reason for the need for a tooth filling is tooth decay. However, accidents, cracks in the tooth, chipping or signs of wear can also be considered as causes for the destruction of tooth structure. When natural, healthy tooth substance has been lost, a filling becomes necessary.

For this purpose, we offer filling therapy with high-quality materials, so-called composites, in our practice. Although these are associated with additional costs in the side tooth area for those with statutory health insurance, they offer a number of advantages.

What are the advantages of composite fillings?

  • only a small amount of tooth substance has to be removed

  • Aesthetics: the material can be matched to the natural tooth color

  • Composite fillings blend well with tooth structure

  • Free of heavy metals and mercury (compared to amalgam)

What does the treatment cost?

There are several methods for inserting a composite filling, which are of varying complexity.

Statutory health insurance companies cover the costs for a composite filling in the front tooth area, while there are additional costs in the side tooth area, which we will of course discuss with you in advance.

Private patients are reimbursed for composite fillings by private health insurance.
